Stefan Bartz has a diverse work experience in the fields of I&C technology, business development, product management, project management, and industrial automation. Stefan is currently serving as the Head of I&C Technology Department at Dornier Group since March 2023. Prior to this, Stefan worked at Uniper as a business development and product management consultant/project manager for key projects from February 2017 to December 2022. Stefan also held the position of Head of E, C&I Technology Hydro Power from January 2016 to February 2017 at Uniper. From January 2013 to December 2015, Stefan was the Head of E, C&I Technology Hydro Power at E.ON. Stefan also served as the Head of Control Technology from November 2010 to December 2012 and as a Project Manager in Control Technology and IT from October 2006 to October 2010 at E.ON. Earlier in their career, Stefan worked at ODEVIS AG as a Project Manager and Software Engineer from October 2000 to September 2006 and as a Team Leader in Industrial Automation from October 1999 to September 2000. Stefan began their career at HERMOS Automation GmbH as a Project Manager in Industrial Automation from September 1995 to September 1998 and later as a Team Leader in IT from October 1998 to September 1999.

Stefan Bartz received their Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2006. Prior to that, they completed their studies in Automation technology at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, earning a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree from 1991 to 1995. In 1990, they obtained a Hochschulreife in Elektrotechnik from Ingeniurhochschule Berlin. Before pursuing higher education, Stefan Bartz worked as a Maschinenbauer at Berliner Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik Marzahn from 1986 to 1988.
