Damien L. Butler

Damien L. Butler serves as the Director of Business and Finance at Ypsilanti Community Schools since January 2023 and is the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Salem High School since September 2019, focusing on player development and fostering a positive team culture. As the Founder of Manifest One Empowerment Group since August 2006, Damien L. Butler empowers young individuals to establish relationships and achieve their goals. With a background as an Instructor at Dorsey Schools since January 2019 and a former Senior Army Instructor at Taylor High School, Damien L. Butler is dedicated to teaching and mentoring future leaders. Previous experience includes roles as a Financial Management Officer in the US Army and various coaching positions. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in K-12 Basic Administration from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University, and a BS in Workforce Education from Southern Illinois University, alongside an AAS from the Community College of the Air Force.
