Jennifer Coates

Jennifer Coates is a legal professional with extensive experience in various capacities within prominent law firms and public service. Currently, Jennifer serves as a Partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP since April 2021. Prior to this role, Jennifer held Partner and Associate positions at Bowman and Brooke from December 2015 to April 2021. Jennifer's legal career includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General from January 2012 to December 2015 and as an Associate at Gray Plant Mooty, now known as Lathrop GPM, from August 2008 to December 2011. Early in Jennifer's career, a role as an Account Executive at Leo Burnett was undertaken from June 2000 to August 2002. Jennifer holds a BA in Sociology and English from Amherst College, an MA in American Civilization from Brown University, and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
