Huseyin Alper Akyurek

Huseyin Alper Akyurek has worked in a variety of positions and roles throughout their career. Huseyin Alper'smost recent role will start in November 2022 as an Associate Cyber Security Analyst at DOT Security. Prior to this, they spent six months as a Cyber Security- Apprenticeship at Solvent Cybersecurity. From 2017-2022, they were the Principal and IT & Technology Coordinator at the Milwaukee Math and Science Academy. Before this, they were working as an Educational Consultant at Advanced Solutions for Education from 2012-2017 and as a Principal at Milwaukee Math and Science Academy from 2011-2012.

Huseyin Alper Akyurek obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Boğaziçi University in 1994. In 2006, they received a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Dayton. Huseyin Alper also obtained several certifications and completed courses in cybersecurity, network security, cloud services, and system administration from various institutions, including Coursera and LinkedIn. The certifications and courses completed include (ISC)2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Cert Prep, Google IT Support Specialization, Introduction to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Security Analyst Fundamentals Specialization, Wireshark: Network Troubleshooting, Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User, and more.
