Cory Edwards

Cory Edwards has a strong background in corporate communications and marketing. From 2022 to the present, Cory has been working as the VP of Corp Comms & Marketing for Dotmatics, leading efforts in media relations, employee communications, and customer marketing.

Prior to this, Cory held positions at Instructure, Adobe, Dell, Brigham Young University, Symantec Corporation, and Connect Public Relations. At Instructure, Cory served as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and the Vice President of Communications, Content, & Customer Marketing. During this time, Cory led various communication initiatives including technology acquisitions, executive changes, and privacy strategies.

At Adobe, Cory worked as the Director of Corporate Communications & Social Media, overseeing internal and external communication strategies and implementing frameworks for measuring the value of communications efforts. While at Dell, Cory directed a team focused on corporate social media strategy and reputation building.

Cory also has experience in education, having worked as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University, where they taught Communications Research Methods.

Early in their career, Cory worked as a Senior Account Executive at Connect Public Relations, where they played a key role in building the San Francisco office and managing client accounts.

Cory Edwards pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and PR from Brigham Young University, graduating between 1998 and 2002. Prior to that, they attended Wasatch High School between 1991 and 1995. Later, from 2007 to 2008, Cory completed an MBA in Business Administration and Marketing from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Additionally, they briefly attended Brigham Young University - Idaho in 1995 and 1996, although no specific degree or field of study is specified for that period.
