Oliver Tomlinson

Oliver Tomlinson is an experienced software engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Dotmatics, where responsibilities include providing technical leadership and managing two engineering teams focused on product and platform engineering. With a robust background that includes roles such as Senior Engineering Manager and Application & Systems Architect, Oliver has a strong foundation in various technologies, including AWS EKS, PostgreSQL, Java, and C#. Additionally, Oliver is an elected Steering & Technical Committee Member for the Dapr Open Source Software project, contributing to architecture and agile process improvements. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Commify and various development positions in organizations such as See Tickets, Union Square Software, and activ8 Intelligence Ltd. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Games Technology from Nottingham Trent University.
