Andrei Marks

Manager, Mobile Engineering at Dots

Andrei Marks is the Manager of Mobile Engineering at Dots. Andrei has been with the company since December 2015, and in that time has served as both an Engineering Manager and, more recently, on the backend services team. On the services team, Andrei is responsible for managing FTE direct reports as well as coordinating contractors. Andrei also handles roadmap and sprint planning, as well as project management for both teams. In addition, Andrei coordinates deployments/releases and other production changes across multiple teams, and has kickstarted high priority observability projects like an alerting overhaul and observability service migration.

On the mobile team, Andrei leads client-side development of the company's transition from a third party analytics provider to an internal analytics pipeline. Andrei is also responsible for designing and transitioning internal cross-game libraries to a Unity Package Manager-based framework. Since the acquisition by Take Two Interactive, Andrei has been evaluating new sister company's tech and guiding technical collaboration. Andrei also mentors interns in the company's technical internship program.

Andrei Marks has a B.A. from Columbia University in Pre-medical/Philosophy, a J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and a degree from East China University of Political Science and Law. Andrei also has a degree from Peking University and Tsinghua University. Andrei attended Don Bosco Preparatory High School.
