Timothy Roosen

Timothy Roosen has extensive work experience in quality management and improvement roles. Timothy currently serves as the Head of Quality, Health and Safety at Dott, where they oversee and develops strategies for ensuring quality, health, and safety align with the company's mission. Prior to that, they were the Head of Quality at Dott, responsible for setting and surpassing quality benchmarks and leading the quality team.

Before joining Dott, Roosen worked at Tritium Pty Ltd as the Quality Manager Europe, where they played a pivotal role in developing and institutionalizing a framework of excellence. Timothy also served as the EU Lead Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer, setting up the company's European production facility and championing quality and efficiency in the production lifecycle.

Earlier in their career, Roosen worked at Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. as an Improvement Engineer, focusing on increasing line performance and operational efficiency. Timothy also worked at AuCom as a Quality Engineer, implementing Lean methodologies and leading process improvement events.

Roosen's earlier experience includes roles as a Project Quality Engineer and Quality Engineer at Cavotec, where they combined quality engineering tasks with project-level responsibilities. Timothy also worked as a Resident Factory Engineer, providing technical support and overseeing manufacturing processes.

Roosen began their career as a Continuous Improvement Intern at Pratt & Whitney, gaining experience in lean manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping while completing their Master's in Mechanical Engineering.

Timothy Roosen holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Canterbury from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering with Honors (BE(Hons)) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution between 2007 and 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Timothy Roosen has also obtained certification as an Internal Auditor in ISO9001, 45001, and 14001 from Lloyd's Register in 2019.
