At the start of their career, Alexander worked at Southern California Edison as a Research Engineer from 1998 to 2001. Alexander focused on electric vehicle infrastructure research and implemented charger modifications to enable Time-Of-Use schedule usage for customers with EVs.

Throughout their career, Alexander has demonstrated expertise in algorithm development, firmware engineering, system optimization, and new technology initiatives.

Alexander Kanaris has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering - Systems from the University of Southern California. Alexander also holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Caltech and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
