Hani Shafi

Hani Shafi is an experienced executive with a history of success in event operations, client services, and production. Hani began their career in 2005 as a Supervising Producer at Tom Jennings Productions, where they traveled the world producing feature-length documentaries and documentary series for broadcast and cable networks such as National Geographic, Discovery, PBS, and Hani'story Channel. In 2009, they transitioned to freelance producing, working with a number of prestigious production companies producing commercials for a vast array of multinational brands. In 2012, they were recruited by the CEO of B2+ The Custom Branded Content Company to establish and lead the in-house production department focused on branded content. In 2015, they began working as a freelance Executive Producer, working directly with networks, agencies, and brands to conceive, budget, schedule, and execute multimillion-dollar branded content campaigns. In 2021, they joined Capital Factory as Vice President, Events & Venue, where they overhauled the Events & Venue department to optimize revenue, performance, and communication while leading the department through a diverse array of in-person, hybrid, and online events across Texas. In 2022, they joined Double A Labs as Senior Director of Event Operations and Client Services.

Hani Shafi completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Radio, Television, and Film Production from The University of Texas at Austin between 2000 and 2004.
