Eduardo Escalante

Eduardo Escalante has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and production. Eduardo is currently working as an Art Lead at DoubleJump Games since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a 2D Animator, Illustrator, and Director in 2021, with no specified company.

From July to December 2021, Eduardo served as the Animation Team Lead at Newscape Studios inc. Here, they led a team of artists, animators, game developers, and editors for various animated and illustrated projects. Eduardo was responsible for team leadership, project management, episode pitching, animation, storyboard, illustration, and contractor management.

Before that, from September 2020 to May 2021, Eduardo held the position of General Production Director at YDSG Animations. In this role, they oversaw and managed all aspects of production for animated episodes, including task distribution, scheduling, and revision.

In 2020, Eduardo worked as a Lead Animator at Young Don the Sauce God and as a 2D Animator and Illustrator at EssenceCartoon. Eduardo also has freelance experience as an Animator, Comic Book Artist, and Storyboarder from September 2014 to March 2020.

Additionally, Eduardo has worked as a 2D Animator at Rooster Teeth from September 2018 to December 2019 and as an Assistant Coach at Jaguar Gym from August 2018 to January 2019.

Eduardo Escalante attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2013 to 2018, where they completed their undergraduate degree in Animation. Eduardo also studied Sequential Art during the same period. In addition, Eduardo holds a certification as an Adobe Certified Associate, which was obtained from Adobe in February 2011.
