David Cousins

David Cousins has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to facilities management and project management. David has held positions such as Director of Facilities at Douglas College, Facilities Manager at Bastion Development Corporation, Senior Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, and Head of Property & Business Services at The University of Sheffield. David has also worked as Managing Director at Peak Consultancy Limited, Principal Surveyor at Parkside Housing Group, Senior Building Surveyor at Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, and Building Surveyor at Rushmoor Borough Council. Throughout their career, they have successfully managed capital projects, maintenance programs, and teams of skilled tradespeople and contractors. David has experience in financial management, program management, change management, and multi-disciplinary project management.

David Cousins obtained a Higher National Diploma in Building/Construction Site Management/Manager from Solent University from 1978 to 1982. David then went on to earn their MRICS degree in Building Surveying from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1993. Additionally, they obtained certifications in PRINCE2™ Project Management in 2015 from AXELOS Global Best Practice and an MRICS certification from RICS in 1993.
