Kevin Pilar

Kevin Pilar, MEd, currently serves as the Manager of Current Student Communications at Douglas College, where responsibilities include leading and implementing communication strategies for current students. As a Principal Photographer at Kevin Pilar Photography since June 2021, Kevin specializes in commercial and brand photography with a focus on evoking emotion and highlighting unique qualities of clients. Prior experience includes roles such as Program Advisor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Manager of Communications and Recruitment at SFU's Charles Chang Institute for Entrepreneurship, where Kevin drove promotional activities and recruitment efforts. Previous positions also encompass Student Affairs Coordinator at Simon Fraser University, Marketing Strategist at BCIT, Territory Manager at Canterbury Coffee, and Lead Sales Associate at GNC. Education includes a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
