Matt Cravens

Matt Cravens is an experienced data analyst with a focus on quantitative analyses within the criminal-legal system as a Senior Data Analyst at Douglas County Kansas since December 2019. Previously, Cravens held roles at USCIS, analyzing immigration-related data, and The Pew Charitable Trusts, examining sentencing and corrections policies. A Visiting Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Dartmouth College involved mentoring students in policy research, while Cravens also served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Minnesota and a Research Associate at The Urban Institute, contributing to health policy analysis. Cravens holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.
