Ryan Carlino

Ryan Carlino is a Senior Policy Analyst at The Council of State Governments. Prior to this, Ryan held positions such as Research Manager and Research Analyst at the University of Chicago, where Ryan worked on projects related to crime, education, and criminal justice reform. Ryan also served as a Commissioner on the Community Police Review Commission in the City of Austin, focusing on police accountability and community engagement. Ryan has a background in data analysis, policy research, and public affairs, with experience in government consulting and advocacy work. Ryan holds a Master of Public Affairs in Public Policy Analysis from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Grinnell College.
