Peter Oitmaa

Peter is a Principal of Douglas Partners and is based in the Sydney office. His professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Master of Engineering Management. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and is on the National Engineering Register (NER).

Peter has a wide range of experience in both undertaking and reviewing geotechnical and contaminated site projects. This includes earthworks, excavation stability, excavation impacts, movement monitoring, foundations, piles, road and heavy duty pavements, railway infrastructure, subdivisions, groundwater, dewatering impacts, vibration monitoring, contaminated site assessments, remediation planning, site validation, waste classification, ENM/VENM assessments, groundwater quality assessments, asbestos monitoring and acid sulphate soils. He has worked on multi-disciplinary design teams for tender submissions and has acted as an expert witness in several legal cases.

Clients include government agencies, publicly-listed developers, private developers, community organisations, schools, architects, consulting engineers, planners, construction contractors, builders, piling contractors and earthworks contractors.
