Tim Wright is a Principal with Douglas partners with over 25 years experience in geotechnical engineering and contaminated land consultancy.

Tim graduated from the University of Liverpool (UK) with a BSc (hons) degree in Geology and Physical Geography before completing his MSc in Engineering Geology at the University of Durham (UK). He is a Chartered Geologist (Geological Society of London) and became a Registered Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC) in 2004. Tim moved to Australia in 2012 to join Douglas Partners.

He has directed a broad range of projects across the UK related to the investigation, assessment, remediation and validation of land affected by contamination across the Development, Transportation, Water, Energy, Oil & Gas and Waste Sectors including Masterplanning, Feasibility Studies and Environmental Impact Assessments

Tim is based in the Sydney office and is engaged in the management of the investigation, assessment, remediation and validation of sites across NSW. He is also a Douglas Partners technical report reviewer for contamination reports from Douglas Partners' offices across Australia. As well as working on numerous small-scale projects Tim has recently managed large projects including the investigation and remediation of station sites for the Sydney Metro Northwest and for a major school redevelopment in Parramatta which involved state significant archaeology as well as contaminated filling.
