Victoria Pocius

Victoria Pocius is a Field Scientist I at Douglas Products since October 2021, following roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Alabama and Postdoctoral Scholar at Penn State University. With a strong academic background, Victoria earned a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Iowa State University and an MA from The University of Kansas, where research focused on monarch butterfly behavior and habitat. Prior experience includes coordinating outreach for monarch habitat conservation at Monarch Watch and conducting scientific research on butterfly physiology and migration. Additional roles span from a Laboratory Assistant at Sweet Briar College to a Seasonal Monarch Biologist, highlighting extensive expertise in ecology and conservation efforts.
