Gheorghe Lungu

Gheorghe Lungu is a seasoned Data Scientist currently employed at Douglas Shaw & Associates since October 2020 and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Physics at the College of DuPage since January 2012. Previous roles include Project Manager - Analytics at Carlson Wagonlit Travel from September 2014 to October 2020, Data Scientist/Staff PhD at XSELL Technologies from June 2013 to August 2014, and Research Associate at The Rockefeller University from November 2007 to April 2013. Gheorghe Lungu began an academic career as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida/Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory from August 2001 to November 2007. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Florida (2001-2007) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bucharest (1996-2001).
