Shiri Ranot has worked in a variety of roles in the food and technology industries. In 2001, they began their career as a Marketing and Communications Project Manager at Pelephone Israel. In 2004, they moved to Nestle Israel as a Brand Manager/Culinary Marketing and Communications Projects Supervisor. In 2006, they joined Hartz Mountain Corporation as a Category Manager, where they spearheaded the international Animal Health growth team and developed targeted product lines. In 2014, they became the Director of Business Development at Switch, Inc., a mobile technology startup, where they oversaw consumer and business outreach, enterprise sales, full-sales cycles and account management. In 2017, they worked as a consultant for food tech companies geared towards the European market, devising marketing and sales strategies and performing market analysis. In 2018, they joined Wissotzky Group as Business Development Wissotzky Tea, leading new revenue initiatives in ecommerce, retail, and new partnership development. In 2019, they became the Global Marketing Director & Brand Partnerships at DouxMatok, a VC-backed food-tech company, focusing on efficient delivery of flavors and ingredients.
Shiri Ranot received their Master's Degree in Marketing from The College of Management Academic Studies between 2002 and 2005. Shiri obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) between 1997 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed General Studies coursework with a focus on Art History at HUNTER COLLEGE OF THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK between 1996 and 1997.
