Francisco Serra-Martins

Francisco Serra-Martins has a diverse range of work experience. Francisco is the founder of Dove Air, where they led the expansion into the development of urgent aid delivery solutions using unmanned aerial vehicles. At FII Institute, they advise on strategies and implementation of new technologies and solutions in line with their focus areas. Francisco is also a member of the Forbes Business Council. Francisco previously served as an Investment Director at Serra de Estrela Investments Ltd, focusing on renewable energy, technology, and social impact in Africa. Francisco has also worked as a guest lecturer at the University of Sydney, co-founder and CEO of Sonder Design (which was later acquired by Foxconn), and served as a Combat Engineer Sapper with the Australian Army. Additionally, they have experience in project management and senior project management roles at Ampol Singapore and Sintra 88, respectively.

Francisco Serra-Martins has pursued education in various institutions. Francisco holds a degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. Additionally, they have completed a Masters in Business Administration from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Project Management, from the University of Sydney. Francisco also has a military background, having studied at the Australian Defence Force's School of Military Engineering - Steele Barracks, in the field of Royal Australian Engineering Corps. Francisco'seducation journey began at Menai High School, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC).
