Jodi Thompson

Jodi Thompson is the manager of the growing Urgent Care Department. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and prior to joining DoveLewis in 2014 worked for 6 years at an Emergency and Critical Care center in Wisconsin. She finds the Urgent Care appointment-based model particularly rewarding, as this allows for time to develop a relationship with pets and their families. Dr. Thompson is also a Level Three Fear Free Certified Practitioner, a certification that focuses on the reduction of feelings of stress in the patients which in return will result in a better experience for all involved.

Outside of work, Dr. Thompson can be found hiking in the woods or planning her next mountain summit. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a board game enthusiast.
