Barrett Sonntag

Barrett Sonntag has over 15 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. Barrett began their career in 2004 as a Flash Developer at EnterMediaNow, where they were responsible for translating customer designs into Flash content for viewing on the Internet, as well as CD deliverables. In 2005, they became the Webmaster for Great Wall China Adoption, where they handled all print and web graphics, as well as online advertising campaigns through Microsoft, Google and Yahoo, and print advertising in several publications. In 2007, they began working as a Freelance Flash Developer for BSG Alliance, and then as a Freelance Software Architect for RAPP in 2008. In 2010, they became a Freelance Software Architect at Clarus Agency. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Sole Proprietor at Barrtag, a Senior Javascript/Ajax/HTML/Mobile Developer at Promethean, and a Senior Software Developer at DecisionGrid, Inc. Since 2014, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Dovetail Software.

Barrett Sonntag is currently enrolled in Computer Science at Austin Community College since 2011. Barrett has obtained three certifications from Microsoft: Microsoft Specialist: Programming in C# Specialist (August 2013), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: Windows Store Apps Using C# (November 2013), and MCSD: Windows Store Apps Using C#.
