Abiodun Olawepo

Abiodun Olawepo is an experienced engineer with a strong background in process improvement and safety within the chemical industry. Currently serving as the Lead Process Improvement Engineer at Dow since June 2013, Abiodun manages a portfolio of improvement projects up to $15 million, focusing on enhancing plant reliability, safety, and productivity through Six Sigma methodologies and technological advancements. Previous roles include Process Safety Engineer at Dow, achieving a five-year record of zero process safety incidents, and Project Manager, where project management skills were utilized to ensure the successful delivery of projects under $10 million. Abiodun's career also includes experience as a Process Engineer at Frito Lay/PepsiCo and production-focused roles at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, alongside early research experience in chemical engineering at the University of Rhode Island. Abiodun holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
