Seshasayee Mahadevan

Seshasayee Mahadevan is a Senior Research Specialist at Dow, contributing to the Process Development group within Engineering and Process Sciences since May 2022. Prior to this role, Seshasayee served as a Doctoral Candidate at Penn State University from August 2018 to May 2022, focusing on supercritical water treatment of municipal solid waste, particularly regarding plastics. Additional experience includes an internship at AbbVie developing fluid-structure interaction models for device performance optimization, leadership roles at AIESEC in NIT Trichy, and various research internships in water purification and combustion reaction modeling. Seshasayee holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
