Trent Kocurek is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in technology and support services for individuals with disabilities. Currently, Trent serves as the Founder and CEO of Equip, a digital platform aimed at enabling individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence while enhancing support services. Additionally, Trent is a Board Member at Down Syndrome Alabama, focusing on empowering individuals with Down syndrome throughout their lives. Previously, Trent held the position of Vice President of Innovation at Unosquare, where collaboration with senior leadership was key to delivering valuable services globally. As the Founder and CEO of Airship and Breeze, both of which were acquired, Trent successfully created innovative solutions that facilitated meaningful communication and transformational experiences. Early in Trent's career, roles at Daxko included software and production support engineering, as well as quality assurance engineering, following a degree in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.

Down Syndrome Alabama (DSA) promotes lifelong Awareness, Acceptance and Advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome. The DSA community C.A.R.E.S. [connections - actions - resources - education - support] DSA also interacts with families, relatives, secondary caretakers, healthcare professionals, early intervention specialists, educators, therapists, service providers, companies and the community at large. Down Syndrome Alabama DSA has a total membership of 940 throughout Central Alabama. Constituents are individuals with Down syndrome and their families (650); other members are relatives, early intervention specialists, educators, healthcare professionals, service providers, volunteers and advocates
