Annie R. Marcroft

Associate at Downey Brand

Annie Marcroft uses her critical thinking, creativity, and sheer determination to realize the results that matter most for clients involved in all aspects of general and complex business litigation.

Annie’s current practice spans all phases of the litigation process, from pre-lawsuit demands to post-judgment appeals, and encompasses a wide array of legal issues including commercial lease disputes, quiet title actions, class actions, and construction defect litigation. Annie applies her real-life experience to her client's complex problems. With more than 10 years of experience in the service industry prior to law school, Annie knows what it means to put her client's and their expectations first. During law school, Annie also worked as a summer clerk for the Honorable L. Scott Coogler, Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. These experiences only sharpened the strong analytical and writing skills Annie uses to present her client's cases in the most concise and compelling manner.
