Heather Sweeney M.a.ed.

Heather Sweeney, M.A.Ed., is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher at Downingtown Area School District since March 2022. Previously, Heather held various leadership roles at Fusion Academy, including Director of Homework Cafe and Head of School, where responsibilities encompassed creating supportive environments for student growth and training dedicated teachers. Heather's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Education and History from Arcadia University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education and American Studies from La Salle University. With a solid foundation in both teaching and administration, Heather has a commitment to fostering inclusive educational experiences.
