Kayla Zibbell

Kayla Zibbell has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and public health. Kayla started working at the Maternity Care Coalition in 2016 as a Parent Educator and Community Doula, providing support and education to expectant parents. From 2014 to 2020, they also worked as a Birth Doula for DONA International, assisting women during childbirth. In 2017, they joined the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium as a Public Health Nurse Educator, where they remained until 2020. During their time there, they also took on the role of a Public Health Program Consultant starting in 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Postpartum Home Visiting Nurse at the Atlanta Birth Center from 2020 to 2022. In 2020, they also worked at the DeKalb County Board of Health as a Public Health Nurse specializing in Children 1st. Most recently, they joined Doximity in 2021 as a Client Services Coordinator. Kayla Zibbell's work experience demonstrates their expertise in healthcare, public health, and providing support to individuals and families in various stages of pregnancy and childbirth.

Kayla Zibbell obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Race and Ethnic Studies from the University of Redlands from 2009-2013. In addition, they participated in a Study Abroad program in Sustainable Development and Social Change at the School for International Training in 2011. Kayla Zibbell completed their high school education at Amherst Regional High School from 2005-2009. Kayla also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program from the American Heart Association, and they are a Registered Nurse licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
