Mark P.

Mark P. has extensive work experience in various roles in the field of data analysis and technology. Mark started their career at HNC Software as a Machine Learning Research Scientist intern, where they applied neural networks to predictive modeling problems. Mark then worked at Sarnoff Research, where they were involved in multiple startup teams, developing projects related to computational finance, biotechnology, and medical cytopathology. During this time, they applied neural network models to tasks such as foreign currency exchange rate prediction and breast cancer detection.

Following that, Mark joined IBM Almaden Research Center as a Datamining Consultant, researcher, and technical product manager. Mark served clients such as NY Times, Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal, MTV, and CNN, and worked on technologies for mining customer transaction data and modeling customer behavior. Mark also obtained several patents during this role.

Afterwards, Mark worked at Sony Electronics Inc. as an R&D Manager, leading a team of scientists and engineers in applying personalization and recommendation techniques to improve user interface software in consumer electronics devices. Mark directed research in user modeling and preference prediction for multimedia content filtering.

Most recently, Mark joined Doximity as a Data Analyst, where they continue to apply their skills and knowledge in data analysis and related fields.
