Tai Nguyen

Tai Nguyen has a diverse work experience in data analysis and visualization. They started their career as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Urban Education in 2009. They then worked as a Web Developer and Tech Assistant at the University of Houston. In 2010, they joined DHL Global Forwarding as an Intern and later became an Analyst.

In 2012, Tai joined Wood Mackenzie as a Data Analyst, where they developed data visualization reports and tools using Spotfire software. They also implemented analytics models on large datasets using R and Python. They continued to work at Wood Mackenzie as a Data Analyst, specializing in Spotfire analysis until 2014.

In 2017, Tai joined BP as a Data Analyst in the Performance Services team. They researched turbine data to identify performance issues and produced monthly reports on turbine efficiency. Later in 2017, Tai returned to Wood Mackenzie as a Senior Data Analyst, where they developed decline curve analysis methods and database structures.

Most recently, Tai worked at Doximity as a Data Analyst and Senior Data Analyst. They designed dimensional models, developed ETL jobs, and built dashboards to track business metrics and monitor product performance.
