Alphons van Den Gruijthuijzen

Alphons van den Gruijthuijzen has over two decades of experience in archival management, currently serving as an Archivist (Senior Adviseur Documentaire Informatievoorziening) at Doxis Informatiemanagers since 1998. Responsibilities include the inventory, processing, selection, and destruction of various types of archival materials, transitioning documents from analog to digital formats and vice versa. Previously, Alphons worked as a researcher at the Informatiebureau Nederlandse Rode Kruis from 1991 to 1997, verifying claims in war archives related to the Wet Uitkeringen Burgeroorlogsgetroffenen i.o. Alphons holds a Doctorandus degree in History from Utrecht University, earned between 1979 and 1987.
