Wim Nagels

Wim Nagels has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Wim currently holds the position of CIO Benelux at DPDgroup since December 2022. Prior to that, they were CIO Belux at DPDgroup from March 2019. Wim also serves as a Member of the Beltug Board and CIO Cabinet at Beltug since May 2020.

Before joining DPDgroup and Beltug, they worked at Ontex as the Global Sr. IT Director from October 2016 to February 2019. Prior to that, Wim held various roles at A. Schulman, Inc., including Global IT Director Service & Delivery (CTO) from September 2015 to June 2016, and IT Director EMEA from January 2012 to August 2015.

Wim Nagels was recognized as the IT Manager of the Year for large organizations while working as the IT Director EMEA at A. Schulman, Inc. in 2012. Wim also has experience as an IT Manager at HIGHCO, where they led a merger and consolidation project.

Earlier in their career, Wim worked at Merck as a Regional Coordinator & IT Integration Lead (EMEA), IT Manager (Benelux), and Network & Server Administrator. Wim also held roles at ARCADIS as a Database Administrator (DBA), Axxent as a Network Administrator, and Diversey Belgium as a Help Desk Engineer.

Throughout their career, Wim has demonstrated expertise in IT management, integration, consolidation, and implementation projects.

Wim Nagels attended the Koninklijk Atheneum Antwerpen from 1987 to 1993, where they studied Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Prior to that, they also attended the Gemeentelijk Instituut Brasschaat from 1984 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Wim has obtained several certifications, including Bronze Phish Level - Basics of Cyber Resilience from Phished in 2023, Leadership Mindsets from LinkedIn in 2022, Change Management and Managing Your Time from LinkedIn in 2017, and Digital Strategy from Vlerick Business School in 2017.
