Mike Estes has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Mike started their career in 1994 as a Color Specialist at Kinko's, where they promoted the sale of personalized calendars, created displays and samples to demonstrate service capabilities, and implemented a system to measure waste and track types of copies. In 1997, they joined Arrow Electronics as a Technical Specialist, where they nurtured customer relationships by providing pre-sale technical expertise, researched and designed potential solutions for customers, and quoted solutions ranging in cost from $10K to $7M. In 2010, they moved to KPaul as an Account Executive, where they identified and cultivated customer relationships for top ten organization on Inc. Magazine's annual top 500 list of fastest growing companies and sold IT, office, industrial, and medical supplies to federal agencies. In 2011, they joined Amazon as an ISS Field Representative, where they served as the link between the corporate retail teams and the fulfillment center and communicated with representatives in India, China, Costa Rica, and stateside. Finally, in 2013, they joined DPS, Inc. as a Hardware & Software Support Analyst, where they provided product expertise and solution design for Symbol (formerly Motorola Solutions) and IBM POWER products along with providing software support for the DPS suite of products.
Mike Estes received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing from Indiana Wesleyan University between the years of 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they attended Purdue University from 1991 to 1994, studying Elementary Education.
