Carys Williams Hind

Carys Williams Hind has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Carys is currently the Head of Technology APO at Dr. Martens plc starting in November 2022. Prior to this role, they were the IT Head of PMO at the same company from June 2020 to October 2022. Before joining Dr. Martens, Carys worked at ClearPeople Ltd, where they held the position of Head of PMO from April 2017 to March 2020. During their time there, they successfully implemented Agile working practices and reduced project overruns by 60%. Additionally, they contributed to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes. Prior to ClearPeople, Carys worked at PRS for Music in various roles, including Ebusiness Project Manager, Implementation Project Manager, Specialist Licensing Consultant, Audit Services Consultant, and Copyright Research Officer. Carys'swork experience at PRS for Music spans from January 2004 to November 2014.

Carys Williams Hind began their education journey in 1992 at Bexleyheath School, where they completed their GCSE's in subjects such as English Literature, English Language, Maths, French, Geography, and Business Studies. From 1997 to 1999, they attended Erith School, focusing on A' Levels in English, Law, and Media Studies. Continuing their passion for law, Carys went on to pursue a degree in Law and Criminology at the University of Northampton, completing their studies with a 2.1 classification from 2000 to 2003. Building upon their previous education, they then attended BPP Law School from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Law, Intellectual Property, and Media and Entertainment Law, earning a degree known as the LPC.
