Thyra Bessette

Thyra Bessette, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Dr. Martens plc since November 2013, with previous roles including HR Business Partner - Retail and Human Resources Generalist. Prior to Dr. Martens, Thyra held various positions at Avamere Family of Companies from December 2009 to April 2013, as well as serving as an AmeriCorps Member in 2009 and working as an Office Assistant at the University of Oregon from 2004 to 2008. Thyra holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metal and Jewelry Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, both from the University of Oregon.
