Debashish Dutta

Debashish Dutta is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and biotechnology, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Global Product Registrations Biologics at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories since October 2011, focusing on biosimilars development and regulatory aspects in India and emerging markets. Prior to this role, Debashish held various positions at Serum Institute of India Limited from November 2009 to September 2011, including Associate Director and Manager of Regulatory Affairs, specializing in biologics and biotech products for domestic and international markets. Debashish also contributed to Avesthagen Limited as Senior Executive in Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Properties from January 2007 to October 2009. Earlier career highlights include being a Senior Lecturer in Biotechnology at Rai Foundation and Research Associate at Mahyco Life Sciences Research Center, alongside an industrial training stint at Hindustan Antibiotics Limited. Debashish possesses a PGDBA from SCDL, a PGD in Patents Law from NALSAR University, and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from Tezpur University.
