Rupika Kumar

Rupika Kumar has extensive experience in design and innovation, currently serving as Director and Head of Design at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories since August 2019. Prior to this role, Rupika held various positions including Sr. Manager in Innovation & Strategy at Whirlpool of India Ltd., where responsibilities included understanding consumer behavior to drive business innovations. With a background as Assistant Design Manager at Toshiba, Rupika managed research and branding strategies specific to the Indian market. Experience also includes working as Sr. Industrial Designer at LG Electronics, where project leadership encompassed home appliance design and user experience research. Additional roles involve consultancy and retail design at various firms including Magppie Retail Limited and JWT, along with hands-on product design for Godrej. Rupika holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a design graduate degree from the National Institute of Design.
