Aaron Pogue

Aaron Pogue has been in the professional writing and publishing industry since 2002. Aaron began their career as a Technical Writer for Navico, Inc. (formerly Lowrance Electronics) in 2002, where they wrote, edited, and laid-out user manuals for GPS and sonar units, as well as writing, editing, and laying out web and marketing copy. Aaron also prepared and edited French translations of technical, web, or marketing copy for Lowrance Canada. In 2005, they moved to METI, Inc. as a Technical Writer, where they wrote, edited, and maintained technical manuals for installation and maintenance of long-range radars, and maintained an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) using Java Script and XML as well as custom authoring tools. In 2007, they moved to ASRC Federal as a Technical Writer, where they performed similar duties. In 2010, they founded The Consortium, Inc., where they acted as President and CEO, leading recruitment, outreach, and strategic planning for the company. Aaron also acted as Head Publisher for Consortium Books, their publishing imprint. In 2012, they began working as a Writer for Masked Fox Productions. Finally, in 2013, they became President of Draft2Digital.

Aaron Pogue attended the University of Oklahoma from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Professional Writing (MPW) degree in Mass Communication. Prior to that, they attended Oklahoma Christian University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in English/Writing.
