John Ray

John Ray is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk analytics and fraud management. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Analytics at DraftKings Inc., John has successfully established four risk analytics teams focused on Fraud, Money Laundering, Compliance, and Responsible Gaming, contributing to over $100M in new revenues through enhanced risk management practices. As the Founder and Principal of Fortify Consulting LLC, John aids small to medium-sized businesses in managing fraud losses. Previous roles include Director of Fraud at FLEETCOR, Vice President of Risk Management at GreenSky®, and Senior Director of Identity and Fraud Analytics at Equifax, where leadership encompassed significant credit applications and analytics platform launches. John began their career as a Statistician at NCI, Inc., and holds a Master's degree in Applied Statistics and a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance from The University of Alabama.
