Tanya Smirnova

Tanya Smirnova is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Dräger since June 2022, Tanya focuses on integrating medical device communication protocols into a reusable software module. Previously, Tanya held the title of Software Engineer II at Draeger Medical Systems, Inc., where significant contributions included designing core features of communication protocols and developing SDK tools for external clients. Earlier roles as Software Engineer I at Mevion Medical Systems involved designing user interfaces and developing backend support for proton beam systems, while initial experience at NTLab focused on developing a multi-component API for GPS receivers. Tanya holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.
