Samantha Urbaytis

Samantha Urbaytis has a diverse work experience in various industries. Samantha is currently working as an Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Development at Brookfield Zoo. Prior to this, they held a volunteer position at Dragon Con, Inc as the Director of Media Relations, where they organized and executed all aspects of the Media Relations Department. Samantha also served as the Media Relations Second and Interview Room Manager, where they developed authentic relationships with agents and guests to provide interviews and press conferences.

Before their role at Dragon Con, Inc, Samantha worked as a Legal Assistant at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP. Samantha managed and coordinated the caseloads of multiple attorneys and drafted various legal documents. Samantha also worked as an Immigration Paralegal at Hallett McCann Law Group Ltd., where they drafted responses to requests for evidence and conducted community presentations on immigration law.

Earlier in their career, Samantha had an internship in Public Relations at Lakeland College and worked as an Attractions Hostess at Walt Disney World. Samantha also has prior experience at Brookfield Zoo, where they served as a Seasonal Keeper and Attendant, providing animal training, narrating shows, and educating the public on conservation and animal care.

Samantha Urbaytis attended Eastern Illinois University from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a minor in Professional Writing. Samantha then attended Western Illinois University from 1999 to 2021, focusing on Zoology/Animal Biology. It is unclear whether they obtained a degree from Western Illinois University.
