Sima Al Droubi has a strong background in human resources and talent management. Sima began their career at Schlumberger in 2005, where they worked as a MENA Staffing Officer, managing international staff and handling internal transfers and promotions. Sima then moved on to become a Senior Compensation and Benefits Analyst, specializing in market reviews, salary structures, and benefits schemes.

In 2012, Sima joined Dragon Oil as a Compensation and Benefits Officer, responsible for salary reviews, annual increments, and bonus proposals. Sima later took on the role of HR Strategy and Business Planning Supervisor, where they focused on HR expansion and organizational design, as well as implementing a new performance management system. Sima then advanced to Head of Talent Management and Manpower Planning, overseeing total rewards management, organizational design, and employee development programs.

Most recently, Sima worked as the Head of HR for Dragon Oil in Egypt, leading the HR team and supporting various HR functions such as employee services and recruitment. Throughout their career, Sima demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing salary structures, benefits schemes, and competency frameworks.

Sima Al Droubi completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Sharjah in the years 2001-2005. Sima later obtained an HRMP Certification in Human Resources Management from SHARM in 2014. Sima earned a Master's of International Human Resources degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University between 2021 and 2023. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including certifications in transformative coaching, talent development management, strategic business planning, leadership effectiveness, and human resource management professional.
