Jing Ying Eng has a diverse work experience spanning various scientific and research roles. Beginning in 2010, they worked as an Independent Study participant at the University at Buffalo's Department of Microbiology and Immunology, where they conducted experiments with E. coli strains. In 2011, they served as a Spring Research Intern at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute and a Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo. Eng also worked as a Research Aide at The Research Foundation for SUNY and as a Summer Research Intern at Erie County in 2010. In 2014, they were a Technical Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before transitioning to MassBiologics in 2015. At MassBiologics, Eng held positions as a Research Associate II and later as a Project Manager. In 2019, they joined QLB Biotherapeutics as a Scientist and then moved on to become a Principal Associate Scientist at Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. in 2020.
Jing Ying Eng completed their education history as follows. From 2006 to 2008, they attended INTI International University & Colleges where they pursued the American University Program (AUP) in Applied Science. Following this, they enrolled at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, earning their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biotechnology from 2008 to 2011. Continuing their studies at the same institution, Jing Ying Eng obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biotechnology from 2011 to 2014.
