Nick Lothian

Nick Lothian currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and AI Scientist at Dragonfly Thinking, beginning in January 2024, and as Adelaide City Lead for Build Club since November 2023, where Nick organizes AI meetings. Nick is also a co-founder of the Artificial Intelligence Collaborative Network (AICN), established in July 2018, which fosters collaboration in the AI ecosystem of Australia. Previous roles include Head of Product and Developer Products Manager at Verida until September 2024, Technical Advisor at Lumaway until March 2023, and Head of Machine Learning at Amplified Intelligence from January 2020 to July 2021. Nick co-founded Tyto.AI, leading the company as CEO from January 2018 to December 2019, and has held significant positions in various organizations, including Project Lead at the Data to Decisions CRC and Managing Director (Volunteer) at Startup Adelaide. Academic credentials include a degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of South Australia, obtained from 1994 to 1997, and ongoing education with Startmate in Investment since April 2024.
