Christoph Hornung

Christoph Hornung is an Investment Director at Draper Esprit. Prior to joining Draper Esprit, Christoph was the CEO & Founder of Next Sports GmbH, a sports venture, from August 2014 to January 2020. From October 2011 to May 2013, Christoph was the Co-Founder & Managing Director at Rocket Internet GmbH, a leading European venture capital group and start-up incubator. Christoph then worked as an Investment Manager at SevenVentures GmbH from June 2013 to July 2014, where they focused on strategic investments in Lifestyle Commerce, Digital Commerce and Growth Investments. Christoph started their career as an Analyst at Accenture Management Consulting in April 2010, where they focused on the Automotive and Banking industries. Christoph has also completed a thesis placement at Porsche Cars North America from April 2008 to August 2008, and an internship at Oliver Wyman from May 2007 to July 2007.

Christoph Hornung has a Master of Science in Strategic Management from Cass Business School, a Diplombetriebswirt (FH) in International Management, Strategic Marketing from Munich Business School, and a Semester abroad from Bond University.
