Louis Kim

Louis Kim is an experienced technical professional with a robust background in operations research and engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Draper since August 2012, Louis has developed local search and heuristic algorithms to simulate pandemic influenza dynamics and analyzed interventions for reducing infection rates. Louis's prior experiences include roles as a student at MIT focused on data analysis and optimization, and as an intern at LG Chem where market forecasts and financial analyses were conducted. Additionally, significant contributions were made as a student researcher at John Deere, leading teams on life cycle analyses, and during consultancy work for Illinois Business Consulting that resulted in substantial cost savings for clients. Louis holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in General/Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
