Kim Westlake

Kim Westlake serves as the HR Manager at Drax Group, focusing on enabling a zero-carbon, lower-cost energy future through engineering and innovation. Prior to this role, Kim held positions such as Human Resources Manager at LandSea Camps and HR Partner at Purebread. Kim's extensive experience includes serving as Manager of Human Resources at APEGBC, where responsibilities encompassed developing strategic HR plans and overseeing various HR programs. Kim also contributed to the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) in several HR capacities, including Deputy Manager of Venue Communications and HR Specialist/Generalist. Additional experience includes HR management at Cypress Mountain, both as HR Manager and Mountain Host Supervisor. Kim holds a Graduate Certificate in Strategic HR Management from Royal Roads University, life and recovery coaching certifications from IARPC, and a diploma in HR Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
