Anastasios Karakostas

Anastasios (Tasos) Karakostas is a seasoned professional in the field of educational and instructional technology, currently serving as the R&D Director at DRAXIS Environmental S.A. since October 2021, while also fulfilling the role of a Researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) since August 2014. Tasos has an extensive teaching background as a Visiting Lecturer at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses from 2011 to 2017. Notable research contributions include a postdoctoral project aimed at developing cognitive exercises for Alzheimer’s patients and the design of educational platforms as a Senior Developer at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Tasos holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational/Instructional Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
