Jose Maldonado

Jose Maldonado, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Jose started their career as a Lifeguard/Redcross Swimming Instructor at the City of Vaughan in 2007. In 2009, they worked as a Financial Analyst at KIK Custom Products. Jose then joined Scotia Capital as a Corporate Banking Analyst (Co-op) in 2010, followed by a role at CIBC World Markets as a Co-op Analyst, Corporate Banking. In 2011, they worked as an Analyst, Corporate Finance at Whiterock REIT.

From 2012 onwards, Jose Maldonado joined Dream Unlimited and held various positions. Jose first worked as an Analyst, Research & Analysis from 2012 to 2013. Then, they became the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they served as the Director, Development Finance and Treasury from 2015 to 2018. Finally, they were appointed as the Vice President, Corporate Finance in July 2018, a position they currently hold.

Jose Maldonado, CFA completed their HBBA in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they also completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Fundamental Derivatives Course from the Canadian Securities Institute. Additionally, they obtained the CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute.
